FOR ALL WHO HAVE BEEN TO THE CABIN WITH US

These snow shoes hanging on the master bedroom wall have a story. One of the other owners of the the cabin went to a sale up to Van's brothers and bought these shoes. She loves to snow shoe as well as cross country ski but she found out that they were the pair that belonged to Van's dad so she decided that they would be better preserved by displaying them instead of using them. I am sure that they are pretty old. I am guessing around 40 plus years old. They are still in good shape. Thank you Jennie for the memory.

Master bedroom and we added a washer and dryer this year. It will make it easier to wash bedding and leave it up there instead of bringing it out and remembering to take it back the next time.

New bunk beds will make it alot more comfortable to sleep. If we ever get to build another home I want a bunk bed room just for grand kids so that they can all have their overnight in one room. Dream on!
WE HAVE NEW WALLS AND CEILING, NEW FURNITURE, NEW FIREPLACE ROCK AND MANTLE, NEW FRIDGE, WATER HEATER AND OH YES THE NEW CARPET. JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING. IT IS SO COZY AND NICE THAT WE REALLY HAD A HARD TIME LEAVING. OF COURSE, ONE OF THE NICEST FEATURES IS THAT YOU DON'T GET PHONE SERVICE UP THERE. WE ACTUALLY DID ALOT OF READING AND CROSS STITCHING. I DIDN'T KNOW BEING SO BORING (AS IN NO ACTIVITIES PLANNED) COULD BE SO MUCH FUN.
