I SHARED THIS STORY ON MY FACEBOOK BUT AS I KEEP A BETTER FAMILY JOURNAL ON OUR FAMILY BLOG I DECIDED TO ADD THIS TO OUR BLOG AS WELL.
An amazing story behind this picture. In 1987
Camie was in Star Valley for a family reunion. She and a relative were
in the Lincoln County Fair Parade and so were our boys, (in this picture
she is the Raggedy Andy (the red hair) on the left in the middle of the
picture). Our kids (Eli-7 years old-behind Camie, Emery-6 years
old-the young boy on the front far right in the blue hat and blue police
uniform, Eric-5years old-on the bike right by Van, left back and
Kory-in the wagon, he was 4 years old), me (Susan) to the right of the
Raggedy Ann and Andy. We were lining our kids up for the parade.
Little did Eli know that he was right beside his eternal mate. They
didn't know each other, they probably didn't say anything to each other
until one day many years later they met, fell in love and 10 years
married now. Camie's mother took this picture the day of the parade and
found it in her things, gave it to Camie to see if this was our family.
They both said that they thought it was Van because of the way he is
standing. Ha! Some things never change. And Eric still looks the same
too. We think that behind Emery is Sid Stoor, if anyone can recognize
him we would like to know. Just thought this amazing story was worth
sharing. Who knows how many other times Eli and Camie's path crossed
before they actually met. Aren't kids great! This photo brings back
sooooo many memories. Sometimes I wish they were all little again.
Note: SOMETIMES, Ha! Hope you enjoy this picture, thanks to Camie's
mother.
